Straightline Excavations is a Victorian based Civil Construction Company formed in 2004 specialising in Basement Retention Packages in the Melbourne Metropolitan Area.

The company is owned by Tarkan Gulenc & George Parissis who both have nearly 20 years extensive experience in the Civil Construction & Building Industry.

Tarkan Gulenc is the General Manager, who as a Civil Engineer graduated from Monash University where his first job as a Site Engineer was on a Shell Oil Refinery off the coast of Singapore in 1993. From there the subsequent 6 years were spent on the mainland as a Project Engineer/Manager for a multinational Japanese Builder working on Residential/Commercial structures.

The past 13 years however, have been spent specialising in Basement Retention Packages with a proven record of managing and delivering more than 60 small and large sub-structures within Melbourne & Brisbane.

George Parissis is the Operations Manager with extensive hands on experience who began as an operator of large heavy machinery in 1992. He quickly displayed a capacity to become a Supervisor managing multiple civil projects at any given point in time.

The most recent 10 years have been spent specialising in various types of civil projects managing the differing stages of construction including Piling, Anchors, Shotcrete Wall, Bulk & Detailed Excavation.
