The Nielsen brand has a long and proud history dating back to the 1880’s as a leading rural producer on the NSW north coast. Since WWII, our family has owned and run a number of retail businesses in the Hunter region.

For the last 30 years the focus has shifted from sales to hiring – firstly caravans and now diversifying into high quality equipment hire. The current expanded business is now showcased at a brand new site on the Pacific Highway, Heatherbrae. Whilst some things may have changed over time, one thing has not – a genuine focus on customers that has come from a long history of success.

Nielsen’s commitment to reliability and integrity is a promise. Whilst our range of equipment is designed to cater for local tradies and DIY mums and dads, we are determined to remain flexible.
