Any asbestos present on site is removed in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety (Asbestos) Regullations 2003 by an approved asbestos removalist registered by the Victorian Workcover Authority.

At Nationwide Demolition the protection of various trees that fall under a heritage overlay are a must and for trees that fall under a TPZ (Tree Protection Zone) area, Arborist supervision is present during the demolition phase. Any unavoidable works that exceed 10% of the TPZ area must be mitigated through low impace design in accordance with the Australian Standard for ‘Protection of Trees on Development Sites’ AS 4970-2009.
