BUSINESS PROFILE

MJH Excavations was established in 1993 and is a family owned and operated entity.  After working in an excavation business with his father and brother for almost 20 years Michael and Julie decided to establish their own excavation/tip truck business. In 2008 we decided to establish M & J Healy P/L to further assist us in our operations.

Michael is experienced in many areas of the excavation industry, including gas, electricity, sewerage and water main installation, repairs and servicing.  New estate excavation, including, roads, kerb and channelling, storm water, site cuts and associated drainage. He also has a heavy combination licence and has driven many types of trucks over the years, including tip trucks, semi trailers and truck and trailer combinations, freight moving with tray truck and container transport.

Julie has a degree in accounting, and is responsible for invoicing, business records, including BAS, payroll, OH&S, workcover and general administration. Julie has taken a more active role in the business over the last 8 years obtaining her heavy rigid licence and driving a tandem tip truck for the business.

We are seeking the opportunity to build long term relationships with great clients. Our business has grown over the years and we now employ 5 full time and 2 part time staff, with many sub contractor contacts specializing in construction.

We have established a family focused business which we take pride in. Our work ethic is based on loyalty to our clients and fulfilling their needs in a professional manner.  We regard safety on the work site, as well as after hours to be one of, if not the most important issue in today’s working environment. We are committed to top quality service for our clients, our professional approach has been developed and enhanced by many years of experience and loyalty.

Our equipment meets all the necessary industry standards, is well maintained, and we take pride in both the appearance of our equipment and how we also present ourselves on the worksite.

All of our employees are fully licensed with many years of experience in their field, competent and have the ability to work well independently as well as in a group environment.
