G&K Plant & Civil Pty Ltd is a Civil Construction company with over 10 years of experience in the construction industry. From humble beginnings, G&K Plant & Civil Pty Ltd was established in 2010 as a small, family owned, plant hire company and has evolved into a structured civil contracting firm.

Founded in 2008 by Gerry McDonnell, the exponential growth of G&K Plant and Civil is due to the way we approach business. Our Team focuses on safe delivery of projects as well as building trusting,lasting relationships with our clients.

G&K Plant & Civil Pty Ltd have formed an umbrella over the many services offered by the organisation including Site Establishment, Bulk Excavation, Detailed Excavation, Storm Water Works, FRP works, Public Domain Works and civil construction projects involving road works, Shotcreting, Steel Fixing and Haulage Works.

G&K is able to offer such a diverse range of services due to the high calibre and loyalty of its staff. The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism has been achieved by a controlled expansion of the company over many years.

At G&K Plant & Civil we focus on building a culture of hazard awareness, careful planning, controls to mitigate risk, a behavior of compliance and the system to support it.

A prime example of our active safety culture is through an innovative process which was rolled out across our plant service sector to reduce risks in plant operation. This process comprises of an automated function called a “kill switch” – a safety measure implemented to ensure total safety in the operating zone.

G&K prides itself on the service, quality and efficiencies provided by its experienced staff and its plant & equipment which is owned & operated by the company.

G&K operates an Integrated Management System combining the aspects of safety, quality and environmental management into a single management system.
