Baker & Gibbons Pty Ltd is a privately owned company operating out of Robe in the South East of South Australia and was incorporated in 1989.  The Managing Director Mr Mark Baker directs and heads the companies, which employ permanent, part time & casual staff.

Baker & Gibbons Pty Ltd have completed a range of projects since the companies formation. The main source of work has been through Community Waste Management Schemes (CWMS) of which Baker & Gibbons Pty Ltd has extensive experience having completed numerous full installations along with various upgrades in different locations across South Australia. In addition to this we have also completed countless civil works programs. We have a sound reputation with Local Government, often being invited to return and complete further projects and work.

Plant and equipment is a major component of any successful company.  We own a wide and varied range of plant and equipment from 6" well point dewatering pumps, small bulldozer (D5K GPS equipped), rubber tired excavator with a specialist quick hitch and grapple making a very versatile machine, along with traditional excavators, backhoes, grader and vacuum truck for not destructive excavation. With the recent purchase of a Vermeer  T - 755 Trencher, we look to increase the range of works that can be undertaken. This Trencher fitted with auto level, is set up to cut 700mm wide and 2.7m deep. With this combination and width cut it produces a safe trench and easy installation of our purpose built shoring (which is available for hire) to meet WH & S requirements. This machine is ideally supplemented with the availability of our Caterpillar D5K dozer equipped with a PAT blade and a CAT Grader for efficient backfill operations.
