The Directors of Aldebaran Contracting Daniel and Jacqueline Skewes are born and bred Territorians and have been operating in the earthmoving and construction industry in Darwin since 1980. In 2008 they started Aldebaran Contracting with operations based at Acacia Creek in Darwin’s rural area. Aldebaran is a family business with a focus on training, local employment and producing quality workmanship in an accredited environment. Aldebaran Contracting has also had numerous Council contracts including Coomalie Creek Council contract for t 15 years, Litchfield Shire council contract for 8 years and the Darwin Region northern and southern regions maintenance contract for 15 years. Aldebaran Contracting is accredited with Contractor Accreditation Limited up to 5.5 Million.

Aldebaran personnel, plant and equipment continually support local fire brigade in times of bush fires and yearly provide dust suppression for the royal Darwin show.
